The Administrative Code is updated with quarterly changes. The Administrative Code was initially published July 1, 1978. Those agencies are identified with an explanatory note on the title page for that agency. Although rules of those agencies are not required to be published in the Administrative Code, some agencies have consented to placing their rules in the code. Many state agencies are not administrative agencies as defined by Section 28-32-02. The 1973 legislative assembly passed legislation, codified as North Dakota Century Code chapter 43-18.1, which regulates the installation of water-conditioning equipment. ![]() ![]() ![]() The chapter was intended to promote and protect the public health through the regulation of the business of plumbing by creating a state board of plumbing and empowering the board and the state department of health to adopt rules governing the practice of plumbing and establishing a code of minimum standards of plumbing work. The 1941 legislative assembly passed a state plumbing law, codified as North Dakota Century Code chapter 43-18. ![]()
